You’ve found your perfect invitations, worked through the wording and details, and they have finally arrived. To save a bit of money, you’ve decided to invite your friends over to have an assembly party so you can get them in the mail. Here are a couple of tips for when to send your save the dates and invitations.
If you’re sending out save the dates, mail them six to eight months before the wedding so that calendars can be marked and there will be no surprises when the actual invitations arrive. Just make sure that everyone who receives a save the date also receives an invitation.
Ideally, you should send your wedding invitations eight weeks before your wedding.
